NGO Development Sub-Project of the HIV/AIDS/STD Prevention and Control Component of China Health IX Project
Description: This Project was responsible for the development of NGO capacity to plan and implement community based project responses to the HIV/AIDS epidemic through training and technical assistance. It resulted in skills-building for Chinese NGOs (all public sector employees) and Provincial AIDS Committee managers in the areas of project management and M&E, policy development, HRD, effective coordination & communications for HIV/AIDS responses, and HIV/AIDS prevention and care skills.
