Technical assistance for Human Resources Development Plan
Description:The development of this Human Resource Development Plan took place in October 2007, as a result of consultations and a situation analysis of the health system and human resource situation in DPRK. In recent years, there have been important health system developments in
DPRK, including the financing and implementation of a long term women's and children's health program, focusing on strategic areas of quality improvement, infrastructure development, health management and communication. This program is being complemented
by a health system strengthening initiative through GAVI support, which will focus on health management strengthening and health sector planning development.
