On Tuesday 1 September, Professor Rob Moodie, Chair of Global Health and the Federal Minister for Health, Hon. Nicola Roxon released the recommendations of the National Preventative Health Taskforce. The Report addresses strategies to tackle the burden of chronic disease caused by alcohol, obesity and tobacco in the Australian community.

Emma Brathwaite, Adolescent/Youth Health Technical Advisor at the Nossal Institute in collaboration with 125 peer educators have produced a short DVD on the Youth Friendly Health Clinic in Aceh, Indonesia as a good way to promote the service to other young people in that region.
